  • If we’re full, don’t fret…check out one of our sister properties in Prague!

Recently featured in the New York Times, the newly-opened and environmentally-friendly Mosaic House is located in the centre of Prague! Take a look at Mosaic House. Also, make sure to check out our other, well-known Prague properties: Czech Inn and Sir Toby’s. Our Prague accommodation family’s (also known as Bohemian Hostels) story dates back to ‘99, when Sir Toby’s opened with just ten beds and zero guests for one week. Ten years and thousands of guests later, our family has grown to include: the boutique beauty Miss Sophie’s, chic and sleek Czech Inn…and our newest addition, the eco-friendly, Mosaic House.

  • Europe’s Chic Hostels: Miss Sophie’s & Czech Inn – Hostel or Hotel?

These Prague hostels are two of Europe’s – and arguably the world’s – best ‘chic hostels’, a new brand of hostel and a gigantic leap from the unsavoury bed-bug ridden hostel stereotype many can’t help but perceive.  I am unsure by whom the term ‘chic hostels’ was coined, however what is certain is that there are a number of indisputable characteristics of these lodgings that separate them from regular hostels.  In fact, these two hostels offer private en suite rooms that leave the word ‘hostel’ and all it represents far behind.  In a nutshell, the best of both worlds equals chic hostels, like Czech Inn and Miss Sophie’s – all the fun, cultural sociability and energy of a youth hostel with all the personal space, safety, cleanliness and freedom of a hotel room….and at a comparative price.

  • Miss Sophie’s is one of Europe’s original and best boutique hostels…

It has a cellar bar framed in exposed brick, en suites with stone and glass-encased showers, slick bedrooms, and even housekeepers.

  • When it comes to hostels in Prague…

Miss Sophie’s is very much the executive lounge. It’s a stylish mixture of sharp-as-knife rooms, an on-site cellar bar of exposed brick and mood lighting, and a kitchen that would be more at home in a New York loft apartment.
